The Management & Business Academy, sponsored by Essilor, is coming to SUNY College of Optometry in June.
Friday, June 14, 8 am to 4 pm, the program will feature a presentation by Review of Optometric Business professional editor, Mark Wright, OD, FCOVD, on “Essentials of Financial Management.” Participants will learn an ideal budgeting structure for optometric practices‚ as well as strategies to optimize fees and dispensary pricing while minimizing patient defection. Leave equipped to interpret key financial metrics and implement strategies to optimize practice equity.
A presentation by Gary Gerber, OD, owner of The Power Practice consultancy, also will be featured. “Essentials of Patient Experience Engineering” will offer concrete techniques to involve staff in redefining the service delivery process to enhance the total patient experience and increase patient loyalty and practice revenues.
