OD Excellence (ODX) announced that Jim Grue, OD, has joined the ODX leadership team in the role of director of health policy integration. Dr. Grue is regarded as a thought leader in the eyecare profession, and is renowned for his expertise pertaining to health care reform in the optometric community.

After a distinguished career in private practice, Dr. Grue joined EMRlogic in 2006, specializing in the development of software as a clinical solution that would exceed health care reform and pay-for-performance standards, and currently serves as their vice-president of Clinical Outcomes & Connected Care. Dr. Grue is a frequent speaker on health care reform and its implications for eyecare, and is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
