NFOS is the international organization dedicated to the promotion of formal opticianry education offered by accredited educational institutions. NFOS member schools are located in the United States and Canada. Educational materials and resources developed by the NFOS are available to all member schools. Students enrolled in NFOS Member schools are able to come to this site to access jointly developed curriculum materials. The creation of this joint curriculum has opened the door for implementing online distance education programs at current opticianry colleges, as well as easing the transition for students transferring from one school to the next.
