The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in close collaboration with Alcon and other members of the Contact Lens Institute, has organized Contact Lens Health Week (August 21–25) to increase public awareness of healthy contact lens wear and care, and encourage contact lens wearers to adopt healthy habits that can reduce their chances of getting an eye infection.
