Key Database Highlights
- Largest U.S.-Cleared Reference Database: The Optos RDB includes the highest number of patients of any cleared U.S. database. It comprises 879 eyes, aged 22-84, collected across nine clinical sites, offering a diverse and representative dataset to support clinical evaluations.
- Exclusive to Monaco and MonacoPro: The database is integrated into the Monaco and MonacoPro platforms, providing essential guidance for assessing retinal thickness, ganglion cell complex (GCC) thickness and optic nerve head (ONH) metrics. This integration supports the detection of abnormalities associated with conditions such as diabetic macular edema (DME) and glaucoma.
- Industry-Leading Commitment to Innovation: As reference databases become more ubiquitous, Optos says its approach remains focused on maintaining the most extensive and clinically relevant dataset, ensuring that eyecare professionals have access to the best tools for accurate patient evaluation.
