How an OD Alliance Can Help a Start-Up Practice

June 12, 2019

An optometric alliance can provide new practices with key resources and cost-saving opportunities. Here’s how one doctor made the most of his OD alliance to grow his start-up practice.

SKILL-BUILDING. An alliance can help doctors get the education they need in negotiation skills, working with vendor representatives, and other areas of business know-how, to succeed.

COST SAVINGS. The ability to benefit from cost savings in the purchase of inventory can be a big boost to a young practice financially.

NETWORKING. National and regional meetings give new practice owners a chance to learn from other doctors, and to find mentors.
