Strategic marketing initiative delivered when practice needs it most
Dec. 1, 2025
When the former owner of Sea View Optometric Center passed away, a series of transitions for the business created a challenging environment. Operations were restructured multiple times, creating instability. Reviews tanked, and many long-time customers were lost during the span of a few years.
New owner Loren Rude, OD, purchased the practice in 2022 and was tasked with pulling together the pieces. Dr. Rude hired practice administrator Catherine Almanza two years ago, and Almanza has been dedicated to refreshing the marketing strategy.
REPUTATION REFRESH
Almanza saw this new marketing initiative as a necessity to help salvage the practice’s reputation. “Our priority was to rebuild trust in our brand, both for returning and new patients,” she says. The strategy and plan had to be captivating to their market. In addition to needing new signage and branded collateral for events, she wanted a more impactful, engaging presence online.
Almanza began the process, developing a new logo and branding colors and defining their mission statement. The plan was underway, but the daily routine often pushed this enormous task to the side.
TRUSTED TEAM GETS THE JOB DONE
Customized marketing materials are a part of the support the practice receives from DONE4YOU Marketing.
All of these tasks take time, creativity and financial resources. Almanza couldn’t manage it alone, and she didn’t want to add to her team’s workload.
She considered many offers to help modernize their marketing, yet none matched the level of care, consistency and alignment from Walman Optical and ADO Practice Solutions. “Working with Walman Optical feels like an extension of our practice,” she says. “Its team shares our values, especially our commitment to making things right for the patient.”
The practice had been working with Walman Optical since 2016, but hadn’t taken advantage of this extension of its services. Almanza says it felt like they were gaining a full creative team when they chose to work with DONE4YOU® Marketing, a division of ADO Practice Solutions. “Projects that had been stuck for over a year suddenly moved forward,” she says. The quality has been impressive, she adds, from customized printed brochures to social media posts, branded swag for events and email newsletters.
“DONE4YOU Marketing has taken time-consuming tasks off our plate and elevated the quality of our messaging,” Almanza says. That helped the team regain its footing and position the practice for growth.
COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS DRIVE GROWTH
The proof is in the practice data. These marketing updates were implemented in October 2024. It led to an increase of 14.2% year-to-date in total revenue. That’s a level of growth that the practice hasn’t seen since 2019.
There’s also an increase of 960 new patients through our doors since working with DONE4YOU Marketing. She attributes a large part of that to the consistent and professional marketing support that helped them better connect with the community.

TOTAL PRACTICE SOLUTION PACKAGE
Walman Optical shares the same values as the team at Sea View. That’s been demonstrated through the practice’s work with the company over nearly a decade. When Almanza chose to work with its team to resolve these marketing issues, she knew that they could trust in the delivery.
The personalized service truly sets this connection apart, she adds. They have a dedicated in-lab representative and have met their lab manager in person, which she says in her experience, has been a rarity. A helpful team is just a phone call away.
Walman Optical also supports the Sea View team by staying on the leading edge of optical technology. “We receive tailored recommendations for patients, helping us choose the most appropriate, high-quality lens designs and coatings. Our opticians appreciate product insights and ongoing education, which enable them to provide informed care and excellent service,” Almanza says. “Their lab team’s consistency and attention to detail allow our team to focus on patient care.”
It’s a powerful relationship making an impact on the business. Revenue growth is up in both the clinic and optical (year-to-date, 10.7% and 16.8%, respectively). Trunk show success has improved, as well. Their frame sales have increased by $1,075 on average the day of trunk shows.
EARN LOYALTY SAVINGS
Beyond the lab, products and marketing support, ADO Practice Solutions also includes the PEAK Loyalty Program. This program offers multiple rebates and a Free Frame Shipping program. That’s a great incentive since shipping costs can quickly add up.
So far this year, Sea View has seen $5,200 in savings so far this year—that’s $745 each month—through participating in the PEAK Loyalty Program. “This is a significant savings for our practice,” Almanza says.
ALWAYS ROOM TO IMPROVE
Almanza is passionate about the practice’s success. She’s always working with her own team, as well as the one with DONE4YOU Marketing, to search for opportunities to continue growth. “Together, we are strategizing how to build out more robust community engagement in 2026,” she says. That will include refining referral marketing and also potentially branch into video and social content.
ADO Practice Solutions is a strategic partner that helps culminate that growth while keeping the practice grounded in quality care. “Its reliable vendor relationships, valuable rebate programs and expert marketing support have played a key role in helping us re-establish stability and communicate consistency to our patients,” she says.
