The Essilor Group division dedicated to sun plano lenses is debuting new lens colors and coatings.
The new lens line includes 36 sun lenses with modern, glossy effects of green or red, as well as multi-color coatings in lavender, champagne, pink, nacre rose, pearly, violet and more.
According to the company, Essilor Sun Solution’s newest coatings “achieve a cutting-edge look with high-quality performance. The goal of Essilor Sun Solution is to offer consumers a better view of the world through lenses that adapt technology within a range of new colors and mirrors.”
The new coatings are also available with Essilor’s Kolor Up lenses, launched in Milan this year “to enhance the beauty of colors.” Kolor Up sun lenses have a built-in color equalizer, producing improved color sensitivity and contrast, the company said.
