AI Office Copilot for optometry
Oct. 9, 2024
Barti Software released its latest artificial intelligence (AI) feature: the AI Office Copilot, developed in collaboration with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) engineers.
This launch comes just a week after Barti added a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone system into its Electronic Health Records (EHR) and practice management software.
Barti says the AI Office Copilot represents “a leap forward in automating routine administrative tasks, freeing eyecare professionals and staff from having to interrupt patient encounters to handle routine calls, and allowing them to focus entirely on their patients.”
A built-in partnership with Google engineers, this AI-powered Office Copilot was designed to seamlessly pick up incoming calls through Barti’s VoIP, schedules appointments, collect patient information and directly enter the details into Barti’s calendar – all in real-time.

This partnership allows us to leverage Google’s advanced AI technology to enhance Barti’s EHR and practice management software.”
Barti’s new VoIP and AI Office Copilot is intended to create a smooth communication experience for the patient. By automating phone interactions, managing scheduling, and sending automated text reminders, Barti Software was designed to streamline the entire patient journey while allowing staff to focus on more critical tasks.
