A new Eyefinity, Arrellio integration to help practices recapture contact lens revenue
June 18, 2025
Eyefinity, a VSP Vision company and provider of cloud-based practice management and electronic health records software, announced its integration with Arrellio, a contact lens ordering and e-commerce platform.
Practitioners estimate that only 59 percent of their patients purchase contact lenses directly from their practices, with the remaining 41 percent turning to online retailers or big-box stores. This represents significant lost revenue for independent eye care practices.
By re-engaging patients through automated communications and proactively driving reorders through targeted follow-ups, Arrellio is designed to maximize contact lens sales and enable practices to automatically recover potential lost revenue.

“We continue to expand the Eyefinity Encompass ecosystem with digital tools that enhance patient experiences while driving more efficient workflows for eye care professionals,” said Eyefinity President Charlie Biegel. “This integration with Arrellio addresses a real challenge—helping practices recapture contact lens sales that might otherwise go to online competitors.”
The integration enables practices to automatically identify patients due for contact lens refills and send personalized reorder reminders via text and email.
Patients can then place orders directly through secure links that connect back to their practice, ensuring continuity of care and maintaining the doctor-patient relationship.
This automated approach is intended to keep patients informed and engaged while increasing retention and practice profitability.
