Webinar series to help eye care professionals strengthen and grow their specialty practices

ABB Optical Group announced today the launch of Beyond the Lens, a free webinar series, giving eye care professionals (ECPs) the clinical education and business strategies they need to grow their specialty lens practices in 2026.
The free four-part educational series addresses some of the most pressing challenges facing ECPs today—from revenue loss due to billing and coding errors to advanced specialty lens techniques. Each 60-minute session pairs practical business strategies with advanced clinical education, giving practitioners tools they can apply immediately.
“Specialty vision is one of the strongest value-creation areas in eyecare, and we want eye care providers to be empowered to lead it. Beyond the Lens is designed to give ECPs the clinical confidence and business acumen to build stronger, more resilient practices in 2026 and beyond,” said Aaron See, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Contact Lenses, ABB Optical Group.
Four Sessions, Four Opportunities to Grow
Beyond the Lens kicks off on April 22, 2026, with the session Smart Strategies for Billing, Coding and Patient Retention, featuring Loren M. Beek, OD, of Discover Vision Practice. Attendees will hear tips and insights for billing and coding, reducing claim denials, capturing more revenue and strengthening patient loyalty in a specialty lens practice.

August 26, 2026 — Unlocking Ortho-K Success with Jackson Lau, OD, FAAO, FSLS, focused on defining and streamlining the ortho-k fitting process
October 28, 2026 — Refining Visual Precision with Jason Jedlicka, OD, FAAO, advancing the approach to multifocal and HOA optics
All sessions begin at 8 p.m. EST and are free to attend. ECPs can register for the full series or individual sessions here. All registrants will receive a recording of the webinar and can submit live questions directly to the speakers throughout each session.
