What Do You Use TV Screens with Patients For?

Education appears to be the top use of televisions in practices, findings from Jobson Optical Research’s 2013 ECP Internet Usage report suggest. Some 55.9 percent of respondents say they use televisions with patients to show educational/promotional videos. However, 39.7 percent say they use television with patients just to show regular television channels. Another 29.6 percent say the television in their offices are used to show product information, while 23. 1 percent use television with patients to show practice information. Some 10.1 percent say they use private close circuit televisions in their office, and 6.5 percent use television for an unspecified “other” reason with patients.
