How to Use Data to Make Better Business Decisions

Jan. 10, 2018

Three ODs discuss the impact of managing a practice based on data–and being empowered to forecast growth over the long term. Having a wealth of data available on a daily dashboard, they say, helps enormously in making informed decisions that yield predictable results. An ROB round-table discussion.

IDENTIFY TRENDS. Look at practice performance trends, and then have an automated process that provides you with a formula of what to do in various business scenarios.

IMPROVE PATIENT ENGAGEMENT. Use data to determine which kinds of marketing work best in getting patients into your exam chair, and then target marketing.

TEST TO SEE WHAT WORKS BEST. Every time you launch a marketing campaign, use data to analyze how well it accomplished your goals, and then refine before investing more money into the campaign.
