GROW INTO IT. If you push yourself to invest in a new building, or another large-scale investment, you also push yourself to meet new goals. BE VISIONARY. As you strive to grow and reinvent your practice you become the practice visionary, following through with your ideas. IMPROVE. Have an eye toward constant improvement, always looking for ways to better serve patients and become more profitable.

GET FAMILY ON BOARD. Realizing professional dreams becomes easier when your spouse and children understand what you’re working toward. HAVE PURPOSE: Your work will have greater impact if you feel inspired, rather than just slogging through tasks every day. BE HAPPY. Only work as hard as you need to be happy; don’t work to the point that you achieve professional goals at the expense of personal happiness.
