Bausch + Lomb Launches a New 28-Lens Zenlens Dx Set

Dec. 21, 2016

Bausch + Lomb’s Specialty Vision Products business has launched the Zenlens diagnostic lenses in a new 28-lens set format.

Adding to the classic Zenlens 24-lens Dx format, which features six lenses in two diameters (16 & 17mm) and two separate designs (prolate & oblate), the new 28 lens set adds four diagnostic lenses with toric peripheral curves.

“Scleral lenses have become the fastest growing segment in specialty contact lens fitting,” says David Bland, director, Specialty Vision Products, Bausch + Lomb. “The Zenlens scleral lens has established an excellent reputation due to unique features such as the dual diameter design, SmartCurve lens design and MicroVault technology. The Zenlens 28 lens set will allow specialty lens fitters to help provide a successful lens wearing experience for their patients as an effective problem solver for challenging fits.”

The additional Dx lenses can help specialty lens fitters quickly and accurately assess scleral toricity to better determine proper peripheral lens toricity with the Zenlens toric peripheral system.
